I use this method but because my back is getting worse I prop it on another log or I use a tool called a log lift, only around $45 after taxes but sooooo worth it.

Daaaaaaaaammmnnnn,when I was manually climbing exspecially with storm work for com Edd. Thee was no turn off calls I almost died many times due to an ignorant crew leader he was syndical in the way he trained me like he never cared for my life because he was so stressed with his own but never stepped down as a leader and progressed into evil ways to make you want to die 8 hours a day and he was a total hoax but he had the position and never trained anyone past his secret formula ,all because of his greed an inability to accept life, so I guess that’s the lives of most of you so I leave you .

I trim trees on power lines for a living. We have to trim with the lines still hot. But we also have insulated booms. Man I wish I could work with the power off and grounded but that’s like asking for a miracle. 99% of the lines I’ve ever trimmed on were still Hot. It must be nice to not have that stress when working with in 2’4” of the lines .
